Santaco fights crime for students
With the academic year about to get underway, the National Taxi Council (Santaco) has launched a student safety campaign.
The taxi council says the campaign is important because as students start making their way into Pretoria they become soft targets for criminals and conmen.
Santaco’s Midday Mali said: “What we are doing, as Santaco, is what is called Hlokomela programme, students will be coming to enrol.
“As the taxi industry we are ready for criminals, our message to them let them refrain these people are our future leaders, everyone should be protected.”
