Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi is promising to step up efforts to fight crime in Soweto.

He led a roundtable discussion on policing in the area this weekend.

Lesufi says a multi-sectoral approach will be taken.

It includes the police, businesses, NPA, Eskom, and Prasa.

Lesufi also says he will be more proactive in bolstering the police force and shaking up the government.
