Job Description:
A nationwide manufacturer of electromechanical equipment is looking for an experienced and organized Creditors Clerk to join their team in Johannesburg East.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the full creditors’ function and reconciliation of supplier accounts.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Costing of imported products
Payment of foreign creditors
Reconcile CFC bank accounts
Reconcile foreign control accounts
Monthly revaluation reports
Update daily rates
Match invoices, delivery notes, goods receipts note and purchase orders
Resolve queries
Process invoices
Reconcile accounts to the monthly statement and remittance advice within the deadlines provided by the Financial Accountant
Process authorized journal entries
Education:
Relevant tertiary qualification
Job Experience & Skills Required:
5 years’ experience in a creditors/accounts payable role
Strong foreign payment experience
Strong Excel skills
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Work well under pressure
Deadline driven and results orientated
