Staff transport bus crashes into tree
Gauteng: At 04H48 Wednesday morning Netcare 911 responded to a collision on River Road in Bryanston Sandton.
Reports indicate that the driver of a staff transport bus lost control resulting in the vehicle slamming into a tree.
Fortunately, there were no other occupants in the mini-bus at the time.
One person, an adult male sustained moderate injuries and was treated on scene by an advanced life support paramedic while Netcare 911 rescue technicians used hydraulic tools to free the driver from the wreck.
Once extricated and stabilized the patient was transported to the hospital for further care.
