President Cyril Ramaphosa offers condolences to COVID-19 victims

President Cyril Ramaphosa has offered his condolences to victims of COVID-19. That’s as South Africa passed the one thousand mark of coronavirus deaths. Ramaphosa has wished strength to those who have lost someone they love to the disease. He’s praised South Africans who have acted accordingly in reducing the spread of COVID-19.
The president says government has used lockdown time to prepare the health system as much as possible. Thousands of hospital and quarantine beds have been secured as a result.
