Teachers could get their COVID-19 vaccines this week if one teachers’ union has its way.
Naptosa says at least 500,000 Johnson & Johnson doses have been secured for the education sector.
But the jabs are still awaiting approval.
Naptosa says the vaccination process could kick off on Wednesday and it will prioritize those over the age of 40.
The Health Department will confirm vaccination sites and schedules.
Teachers unions have been calling on the government to prioritize its members in the vaccine rollout.
