Business Unity South Africa (Busa) is heading to court to get clarity on mandatory jabs at the workplace.
It says it wants legal certainty on how to approach the matter.
According to the labour department, businesses are permitted to make Covid-19 vaccinations compulsory.
But the department has stressed that if employees refuse for a good reason to be vaccinated, the employer must make attempts to reposition them before it considers retrenching them.
