Young adults yet to come in their numbers for COVID-19 vaccine

While the over 35s jumped at the chance to get vaccinated, the turnout for the over 18s at vaccine sites across Gauteng at the weekend was low.

But Gauteng’s Health MEC Nomathemba Mokgethi was positive while visiting some of these sites.

She says it’s early days yet, and that the number of young people wanting to get vaccinated is expected to increase.
