President Ramaphosa first to receive COVID-19 vaccine – Video
President Cyril Ramaphosa and Health Minister Zweli Mkhize joined healthcare workers to receive the first of South Africa’s COVID-19 vaccines on Wednesday.
Healthcare workers are the first in line to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
The Western Cape is administering its first Johnson & Johnson vaccines to healthcare workers at the Khayelitsha Day Hospital.
The vaccines were received on Tuesday.

In other news – Isibaya actress Zinhle Mabena arrested for attempted murder on her hubby, his bodyguard dies
An actress from Mzansi Magic’s Isibaya that recently got canned will be appearing in the Pretoria Magistrate Court today, 17 February. Zinhle Mabena was arrested on Tuesday, 16 February on suspicions of being involved in the attempted murder of her husband.
During the alleged attempt, which took place on 28 January, the husband’s bodyguard died. According to Gauteng SAPS Spokesperson, Captain Kay Makhubele, evidence that linked the actress to the murder and attempted murder was found. Learn More
