Minister Mkhize says SA is moving away from COVID-19 peak

Health Minister Dr Zweli Mkhize says South Africa is moving away from the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mkhize says the recovery rate continues to increase and that is a positive sign.
He was speaking at the release of the UNDP’s Socio-Economic Impact Assessment of COVID-19 on South Africa.
South Africa has 592,144 confirmed COVID-19 cases.
The recoveries stand at 485,468 translating to a recovery rate of 82 percent.
