Thando Thabethe opens up about her COVID-19 journey

Radio and TV personality Thando Thabethe is currently not okay emotionally and physically. The Housekeepers lead actress has opened up to her fans about her COVID-19 journey which she is currently battling. The 947 radio presenter, like many other celebrities, did not think that this would happen to her. Above being physically exhausted, Thando has also not had it easy emotionally, as she expressed how lonely it gets when in isolation.

“Today marks day 10 of my self-isolation after testing positive for COVID -19. I never imagined the emotional rollercoaster that I experienced. I never imagined quarantining for 10 days in a hotel all by myself, just me, no work to rush to, no one to help me with meds, or friends to give me a hug, just me & my thoughts!

The actress and businesswoman also opened up about the fear of not knowing if she is going to wake up the next day while she spent her quarantine at a hotel. Another fear for Thando is getting back out there and possibly catching the virus again.

“There were nights I’d go to bed hoping I’d wake in the morning, I thank God for the ability to do radio while here, and the incredible staff here who safely took such amazing care of me. As I leave tomorrow I can’t help but be anxious about the reality I am now walking back into. It’s all so very scary, but today I am grateful for the gift of life

While Thando is grateful to be out of isolation, we imagine she is also grateful for much more in her life. A few weeks ago, the media personality celebrated her biggest cheerleader, her mother, who celebrated another year of life. In a lengthy and heartwarming Instagram post, she thanked her mother for being her life’s coach and for teaching her to be strong.

Another huge celebration Thando recently had was the opening of her very first physical store for her lingerie and underwear range, Thabooty’s. Owing a huge part of her business success to her qualification, she urged her followers to also make the decision of studying further.

“And days before my 31st bday I got myself a @thabootys store…now open! Please come visit us at Dainfern Square, shop no.46A,” she wrote about her achievement.

In one of the videos posted on Lunga’s Instagram stories, he can be seen walking along the beach with Thando chilling in the back. Lunga is heard saying that he is winning the boyfriend Olympics, and then turns the camera to Thando for her approval. In another loved-up video, the two lovers are walking along the beach when Thando suddenly breaks into a rap song by Biggie. More content of the couple includes a video of them on a yatch and another with “Best Part” by Daniel Caesar ft. H.E.R in the clip. Love definitely lives here and we are here for it!
