Senior citizens in rural KZN want their COVID-19 jabs

Vaccinate us faster. That’s the call from elderly citizens in rural KwaZulu-Natal.

They want the COVID-19 vaccination rollout ramped up as fears over rampant cases in the third coronavirus wave grow.

So far, over 300,000 senior citizens have been vaccinated in the province but many believe this is too little.

KZN’s Health MEC admits that vaccinations in rural areas have been slow, saying people are hesitant to get the jab because of misinformation.
