South Africa records 11 754 COVID-19 infections and 84 deaths
11,754 new infections have been recorded in the last 24 hours.
The Western Cape is leading with 3,112 new infections.
It’s followed by KwaZulu-Natal with 2,935 cases.
Gauteng has recorded just over 2,000 cases, while the Eastern Cape has over 1400 infections.
The rest of the provinces have under a thousand cases.
The positivity rate stands at 27.2 percent.
84 people have died, taking the death toll to over 91,000.
