COVID-19 in SA – Death toll rises to 148

Ten more coronavirus related deaths and 352 new cases have been reported in South Africa. This brings the death toll to 148 with a total of 7,572 positive tests.

Of those who tested positive, 2,746 have already recovered. Seven more people have died in the Western Cape bringing the death toll of the province to 71.

The Western Cape also accounts for almost half the positive tests in the country.

No deaths due to COVID-19 have been reported in Mpumalanga, North West, or the Northern Cape.

A total of 268, 064 tests have been conducted to date with 10, 523 tests done in the past 24 hours.

Radio presenter and club DJ, Ayanda MVP, appears to have gotten a rude awakening from thugs during one of her night walks.
