COVID-19 in SA: 475 new cases, 47 deaths recorded

The Health Department said 475 new COVID-19 cases have been recorded in the past 24 hours. An additional 47 coronavirus-related deaths were reported.
The majority of new cases reported on Friday were from Gauteng with 163, followed by the Western Cape with 64.
Just over 30,845 tests were conducted in the past day, with a 1,7 percent positivity rate.
