COVID-19 in SA: 13 more deaths recorded

The Health Department has reported 13 new COVID-19 related deaths in South Africa, taking the death toll to 15 953.
The majority of the deaths in the last 24 hours are from Western Cape, with the province reporting 6 fatalities.
The Eastern Cape (3), KwaZulu-Natal (1), Gauteng (3) also reported new deaths.
The country has recorded 1 555 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours taking the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to 661 211.
More than 590 071 people have recovered from the coronavirus. South Africa’s COVID-19 recovery rate is at 89,2-percent.
The cumulative number of tests conducted to date is 4 041 543 with 16 884 new tests conducted since the last report.
