COVID-19 in SA: 10,346 new cases, 369 deaths recorded

South Africa has seen 10,346 new infections recorded in the past 24 hours. Kwazulu Natal remains the country’s hot spot with 3,160 new active cases.
But the Eastern Cape now has the second-highest number with 2,103.
The Western Cape remains high at just over 2,000 active cases. 369 more people have died, bringing total deaths to 79,953.

The country currently has an 18.6-percent positivity rate.

In other news – Guilty MaMkhize ordered to pay R4 million fine
ROYAL AM have been fined a massive Mkhize’s club for failing to honour four of their PSL promotion and relegation play-offs.
According to a statement released by the league on Tuesday afternoon, Shauwn Mkhize’s club were found guilty on all charges for all four matches which they were obliged to participate in but failed to do so. Learn more
