The country has recorded over 6,381 new COVID-19 cases in 24 hours. The NICD said further nine COVID-19-related death has been recorded, taking the death toll to 89,975.
Gauteng recorded 4,488 cases followed by KwaZulu-Natal with 635.
The positivity rate stands at 26.4 percent and 24,159 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours.
