According to the NICD, no deaths occurred in the country in the past 24 to 48 hours.
972 new cases have been recorded.
Gauteng still has the most new cases with 358.
It’s followed by the Western Cape with 241 and KwaZulu-Natal with 169 new infections.
The country has over 18000 active cases and the positivity rate is 5.5 percent.
People are urged to continue following precautionary measures.
