The latest Covid-19 numbers are out and 3,056 new cases have been reported nationwide.
Sadly, 17 more people have died.
The majority of new cases on Thursday are from Gauteng with 1,129 followed by the Western Cape’s 536 and 414 new cases in KwaZulu-Natal.
All other provinces recorded fewer than 400 new infections.
Over 34,000 tests were conducted with an 8.8 percent positivity rate.
