South Africa records 3 085 new Covid-19 cases & 23 more deaths

The National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD) has reported 3,085 new Covid-19 cases.
Gauteng is leading with just over 1,000 infections followed by the Western Cape and KwaZulu-Natal with over 400 new cases.
Mpumalanga, Limpopo, Free State, and the North West recorded just over 200 infections.
Sadly a further 23 deaths have been reported in the last 24 to 48 hours, taking the death toll to just over 95,200.
The positivity rate stands at 8.8 percent.

Mzansi DJ, Dineo Ranaka says has had enough of being labelled an attacker and is looking to travel with security after a woman by the name of Tengetile Khumalo alleged she had been attacked by the Metro FM DJ.
Tengetile alleged Dineo physically assaulted her at an event that took place at Funk BA last Sunday. However, Dineo has dismissed the claims. In a now-deleted Instagram post, Dineo tagged a local restaurant, Funk BA, claiming that she was hurt by what transpired. Learn More
