305 new COVID-19 cases and 48 more deaths recorded in SA

The National Institute of Communicable Diseases (NICD) reported 305 new COVID-19 cases in South Africa.
A total of 48 more people have died, taking the death toll in SA to 89,435.
Gauteng reported the highest number of new infections with 93.

Nozuko Ntshangase has opened up about her suicide attempts. The Diep City actress recently made a YouTube video where she said she tried to take her own life three times.
She said on two occasions, she drank pills and on another paraffin. She did not reveal much about what drove her to it but said on one occasion she’d lost a friend. Learn More
