SA records 331 new COVID-19 cases and 53 deaths

The health department said 331 new COVID-19 cases have been recorded in the past 24 hours.
An additional 53 coronavirus-related deaths were reported.
The majority of new cases reported on Tuesday were from Gauteng with 75, followed by the Free State with 53.
The Western Cape and KwaZulu-Natal identified 48 and 47 cases respectively.
Just over 29,000 tests were conducted in the past day, with a 1,1 percent positivity rate.
#COVID19 UPDATE: A total of 29,107 tests were conducted in the last 24hrs, with 331 new cases, which represents a 1.1% positivity rate. A further 53 #COVID19 related deaths have been reported, bringing total fatalities to 88,987 to date.
