South Africa records 3 699 new COVID-19 cases and 300 deaths

The health department said 3,699 new COVID-19 cases have been recorded nationwide in the past 24 hours and 300 more people have died.
KwaZulu-Natal still has the highest numbers, with 932 cases recorded in the province.
It’s followed by the Eastern and Western Cape, each with over 600 infections.
The Free State had just over 500 new cases and Gauteng 331 new infections.
Limpopo only recorded 48 new infections.
More than 44,000 tests have been conducted in the last 24 hours and the positivity rate stands at 8,4 percent.
