5 486 new COVID-19 cases, 5 more deaths

5,486 new cases have been recorded in the past 24 hours.
Gauteng accounts for almost half of those, with 2,213 new infections.
Kwazulu-Natal has reported 1,452 new cases.
Sadly, five more people have died.
This brings the total number of COVID-related deaths in South Africa to 100,523.
The positivity rate is at 25.3-percent.
