Thabo Mbeki: Counter-revolutionaries still exist in ANC

Former ANC president Thabo Mbeki has reiterated that there are counter-revolutionaries within the party.
He was speaking in Bloemfontein at the end of a three-day visit to help unite ANC factions in Free State.
Mbeki has not been there since 2007 before the ANC’s 52nd national conference where he failed to retain his presidency.
“The movement still harbours within its ranks, agents of counter-revolution,” he said.
“That means that this provincial leadership that we are meeting says we have got a task to deal with this problem. The admission of the problem means a commitment to do something about it.”
