SA crime: Lack of counsellors in schools, says Naptosa

Teacher’s union Naptosa says there aren’t sufficient counsellors in schools to deal with the violence occurring on school premises.

This week, a 16-year-old boy died after being stabbed by a 14-year-old from a neighbouring school in Alexandra.

Last month, a 15-year-old pupil was stabbed and killed at Pholosho Junior Secondary School.

Tributes are pouring in for Skeem Saam actor Letlalo Mankabidi. Skeem Saam confirmed his passing last night on social media.
