Convicted racist Penny Sparrow has died
Convicted racist, Penny Sparrow, has died. She gained notoriety for making racist comments on Facebook about black beachgoers.
Her daughter, Charmaine Cowie, confirmed Sparrow died of colon cancer at around 5:30am on Thursday morning.
The Equality Court ordered the former KZN estate agent to pay R150,000 for crimen injuria for her 2016 comments.
