Connie Ferguson: Success is never owned, it is rented and the rent is due every day. We all know her now as Harriet Khoza The Queen who runs Midrand in her hit telenovela on Mzansi Magic’s The Queen.
But where exactly did she start and how did she become so famous? Well, your answers are all here. Connie Ferguson, then Masilo, was born on 10 June 1970 in Lobatse, Botswana but was raised in South Africa. She grew up to become one of the most iconic faces in South African media.
Connie’s main claim to fame is her leading role on the soapie Generations. She played the role of Karabo from 1994, she announced in 2010 that she would be leaving the show. She later re-joined the cast in 2014 after the soapie was revamped into Generations: The Legacy then left again in 2017. Both she and her character remained a fan favourite throughout her run.
She is also an inspiration to many and we love it when she takes time to give her fans words of wisdom. The multi-talented starlet posted a very motivating quote on her Instagram account that we thought would be worth sharing with you. She posted the picture below:
And she wrote: I LOVE THIS!👇🏾
