Connie and Shona Ferguson have a new Movie – Kings of Joburg

Connie and Shona Ferguson are on a hot streak and it doesn’t look like it’s about to end. Their portfolio right now is more impressive than Connie Ferguson’s abs with shows such as The Throne, The Herd and of course the riveting #TheQueenMzansi all airing on television right now. This weekend they introduced us to their newest creation: Kings of Joburg. Uncle Shona was the first to tease the brand new drama on social media when he took a moment to write on Twitter:

“WE ARE NOT PLAYING! Kings of Joburg First Trailer is Out”

He then released the first two-minute teaser showing off their exciting new drama and we can already tell that we are in for a treat. Although the first viewing is exciting, many people can’t tell if this is a trailer for a new TV show or a movie but one thing is for sure – it’s going to be DRAMATIC.

The new feature stars Shona Ferguson, Zolisa Xaluva and Masechaba Ndlovu among a host of new and familiar faces and we’re already shaking in our boots to learn more about the storyline. Watch how it unfolded in the official first trailer below:
After watching the first trailer for Kings of Joburg, the timeline was officially shook as fans of The Fergusons immediately demanded more information including a release date and where we’ll be able to watch the series.

You might recall that Zolisa Xaluva himself teased the upcoming dramatic feature when he shared images of himself along with Shona and a team of editors watching some of the first cuts of Kings of Joburg.

Having given us some of Mzansi’s most riveting productions to date including Rockville and iGazi, the general consensus is that The Fergusons have never disappointed us and it doesn’t look like they are about to with this latest feature.
