Things are just going so well for her, and 2019 has already done wonders for. The star is enjoying each and every moment of this year. She is scooping awards like no body’s business. It always leaves me humbled and genuinely speechless when honored or awarded for the humanitarian work that I do. To me it’s a labor of love, that allows me to shine a light and do good for those who are society’s most marginalized. Maybe it’s because I come from that world.
Just as she thought her trophy shelf was about to be closed two more awards sort her and now she is opening it again. The Isibaya actress is one of a kind woman. Surely working hard can make you reap awards. Here is what she had to say on her latest gongs she bagged.
My role with the UN Refugee Agency as well as the various philanthropic endevours has opened me up to a world bigger than myself where I have come to balance connecting with my displaced kin in a refugee camp, to engaging world economic leaders on funding and youth of South Africa on education, skills development as well raising awareness on mental health issues.
It’s rewarding in its own way, and instills a change in your own life while calling others to do their part. I’m grateful. This feeling is beautiful. Thank you @eonlineafrica @eonlinefor this incredible honour. Wow THANK YOU E! #15YearsofE
