Concrete / Grout pump Operators required: APPLY HERE

Responsibilities:
Performs the functions required utilizing a concrete/grout pump.
Read and understand grout pump operational manual.
Wear all safety PPE when on jobsite at all times.
Adhere to & help enforce all safety requirements, especially those related to the grout pump, the grout pump hoses & the grout delivery vehicles.
Inspect grout pump and related equipment (grout hoses, clamps, etc.) for operational & safety factors, noting/correcting and notifying the Job Site Supervisor of any problems or deficiencies. Do this periodically throughout each day.
Check all fluids & equipment operation daily.
Make sure grout pump is properly blocked up off the ground to ensure pump does not become embedded in grout.
Make sure splashboard is in place to protect discharge manifold from grout & to protect the operator & grout truck from exposure to discharge elbow & clamp.
Clean & lubricate grout pump daily as per grout pump specifications. Do grout splash removal & cleanup after each pile. Operator should be doing upkeep of his equipment when piles are not being pumped.
Requirements:
Previous experience in related field is a must. Must be able to communicate verballay & in writing. Must be physically fit to perform duties. Must be able to work in remote areas across Western Cape region.
