Concerns over new COVID-19 relief grant regulations

Civil society groups are taking government to court over the R350 grant applications. They claim some of the new regulations are unfair and should be declared unconstitutional.

These new regulations disqualify applicants who have an income of more than R350.

The activist groups claim the grant isn’t enough to cover food and other expenses.
