The Rewardsco groups own and operate several leading businesses in the fields of sales and distribution, telecoms, mobile broadband, financial services and cloud software development for the South African market.

Key responsibilities :

Copywriting :
Develop digital content for our brands, including blogs, articles, whitepapers, PR, web content, social content, GDN ads, social network ads, newsletters, emailers, SMS and general short-form and long-form writing, as required.
Writing scripts and creative outlines for promotional videos and podcasts.
Crafting copy for promotional marketing items such as brochures, banners, notices, posters, etc.
Editing and proofreading of digital content and company communications.
Overseeing (and editing where necessary) all creative outputs of the Social Media Manager to ensure consistency in the quality and tone of all our brands on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram.
Conceptual Skills:
Conceptualise creative marketing campaigns across channels.
Bring innovation into ideas.
Strategize creative executions.

Translate the brief and strategic requirements into a compelling creative solution.
Putting your ideas down on paper in the most effective way possible to achieve stipulated goals.
Being proactive and arriving at topical and tactical ideas.

Conduct brainstorms and ideation activities to conceptualise campaigns with relevant team members.

Minimum Requirements :

5+ years of experience in writing and conceptual work.
An excellent creative portfolio showing award-winning campaigns executed across a variety of digital media.
A degree or diploma in copywriting or relevant qualification from a reputable institute.
Digital experience, particularly with, but not limited to the web, social and emerging technologies.
Detail-oriented for quality assurance across all digital platforms.
Ability to interpret briefs and execute creative directions.
Strong conceptual skills.
Strategic development of creative campaign ideas to achieve business objectives.
Multitasking skills necessary for working on concurrent projects.
Ability to effectively provide art direction to designers for all digital content.
Staying on top of the latest trends to be at the forefront of innovation.
Working closely with Head of Creative, Social Media Manager and designers to conceptualize and execute campaign ideas.
