Episode 127

With Moipone now officially living in Sandton, it’s getting difficult to tell who the real madam of the house is, with Pabi and Thandeka in the mix. Senzo requests a formal peace making dinner for the new blended family, and although diplomacy seems to be the order of the day, shifting alliances are the undertone.

Just as Prof starts hustling a plan to bring home the bacon, Mfazwe asks him to mentor his comedy comeback.

Mfazwe realises that Kitty is afraid of performing on stage again as Nolo decides he’s done pining for a woman who has clearly moved on, so hooks up with someone.

Thandeka has been offended beyond repair and considers using Nolo to lure Pabi away from Senzo, but he is clear that he wants nothing to do with any of them. Nkosana is so in love with Laiken, he starts entetwining himself with her boss, Brian under the pretence of work.

Mfazwe helps Kitty with her stage fright and her new act.

Episode 130

Thandeka concocts a plot to have Nolo and Pabi work together, and she is so happy for the job, that she doesn’t see through the trap. Senzo does suspect something though, but doesn’t want to offend Pabi’s new found feeling of independence.

Nkosana and Brian’s mutual dislike, soon turns into mutual respect. Kitty’s new singing act is a hit, all thanks to Mfazwe’s persistant patience and encouragement of her raw talent.

Pabi’s new job is as the business consultant for Nolo’s tavern relaunch, leaving Senzo feeling insecure, so she puts her foot down for Senzo to back off and let her thrive. Nolo and Pabi have a seamless co-worker relationship, as they both insist that they’ve moved on, but seeing Maki with Nolo makes Pabi jealous.

Mfazwe’s comedy dvd catches the attention of Church: the bar in Sandton, leaving Kitty feeling threatenend.

Episode 132

Cebile is back from boarding school and feeling out of sorts. She begs Mfazwe to let her come to his comedy gig, but Kitty gives Mfazwe an ultimatum to choose between her or his career.

Thandeka is loving watching Senzo distress around Pabi’s successful relationship with Nolo, so he pops the question, asking her to marry him.

Episode 133

Thandeka is shocked to witness the viral video of Senzo proposing to Pabi. He didn’t sleep at home, but drove in the night to ask his uncles to write a traditional letter, to officially ask for her hand in marriage.

Kitty is not talking to Mfazwe over his decision while Pabi distracts herself from making a decision about the ring, as she prepares a glam publicity photoshoot of Nolo as the new face of the tavern relaunch.

Episode 134

It’s the day of the tavern relaunch and Kitty is refusing to sing on the program. Nolo has a hot date and Thandeka forces Nkosana to forge Senzo’s signature to give Nolo the title deeds, in order to cause a rift between him and his “sister” over the owenership.

Kitty tries to sabotage Mfazwe’s comedy gig and screams blue murder. Zano comes to cleanse the tavern and finally congratulates her new mother in law.

Episode 135

Cebile confirms that she is three months pregnant and Mfazwe is up in arms on Pat’s behalf. Laiken is finding it hard to keep pretending that she is also in love with Nkosana. Pabi finally makes up her mind that she does actually want to be Senzo’s second wife, as his mother confirms that he’s on his way back.

When Pabi finally gets to the house to officially accept the proposal, both her and Thandeka get a shocking call to come to Senzo’s rescue.

Episode 136

The twins are inconsolable, as Pabi and Thandeka break the news that Senzo has died in a car accident. Pabi steps up and assists with the funeral arrangements, as Thandeka is too catatonic to cope, and Nolo comes to express his condolences with Tselane.

Mfazwe wants to know when Cebile is going to tell Pat that she’s pregnant, but she doesn’t want to break her mother’s heart, who is finally bonding with her.

Episode 137

Thandeka is shaken, when Senzo’s mother arrives, to take control of her son’s funeral arrangements and Moipone is glad when Ma-Shezi lays that law that Pabi is to remain in the house as the official second wife.

Mfazwe betrays Cebile’s trust, when he finally spills her secret, that his sister is pregnant, and Patricia is angry and disappointment.

Episode 138

Senzo’s mother announces that he is to be cremated in a private funeral just for family, and reminds Thandeka about the pact they made, to never reveal his true identity as the real Kabe.

Buhle is concerned that Thandeka is letting Ma-Shezi walk all over her, but this is all part of Thandeka’s plan to protect her kids. Nkosana pours his heart out to Zano and Nolo desperately tries to connect to Senzo in the after life, to no avail.

Episode 139

It’s the day of Senzo’s funeral, and Likeledi advises Nolo not to attend, as Pabi tries to reach out to him, despite Moipone forcing her to focus and forget about him.

Thandeka has no ally in the house, as they all return with his ashes and the twins find their own way to mourn their father and she starts wondering about his last will. Cebile finally decides what she is going to do with the baby and Patricia promises to listen.
