Defence Minister Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula says she was misled about the initial inquiry into Collins Khosa death. Khosa died in April allegedly after an altercation with soldiers.
That inquiry found no wrongdoing on the part of the soldiers but now, the Military Ombud has found they acted improperly and against their code of conduct.
The minister says her department will implement the recommendations of the Military Ombudsman report, which investigated the death of Khosa.
