Cold front expected across 3 provinces

The South Africa Weather Service is predicting a cold front to hit three provinces this weekend.

Intense cold accompanied by strong winds will move towards the Western, Eastern and Northern Cape.

Weather services say residents in Cape Town should brace for showers and near-gale-force winds.

Power outages and communication disruptions can also be expected.

People are urged to exercise caution as there could be road disruptions due to fallen trees.

Popular South African musician and presenter Molemo “Jub Jub” Maarohanye’s charges are piling up as kidnapping and assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm have now been added to his case.

This was revealed when the rapper made a brief court appearance on Thursday, 24 August, at the Johannesburg magistrate’s court.
