KZN unrest: CRL unrest hearings to be heard behind closed doors

The CRL Commission’s hearings into last month’s unrest in KwaZulu-Natal will be heard behind closed doors.

This is after those testifying asked not to be identified.

This means the media will not be allowed into the hearings.

The commission will listen to testimony from residents, police officers, and security companies.

Over 250 people were killed in the province, 36 of those in Phoenix.
