EFF and Unilever reach agreement over Clicks advert

Tensions between the EFF and Unilever may be over. The parties reached an agreement earlier on Thursday.

Unilever has accepted the ad campaign was racist and offensive.

It’s agreed to pull TRESemmé products off shelves for 10 days.

It will also donate 10,000 sanitary towels and sanitizer to informal settlements identified by the EFF.

The company is, however, refusing to publish the names of those responsible.

The EFF says it now considers the matter closed.
