Sassa suspends R45 million Eastern Cape cleaning tender

An over R45-million Sassa cleaning tender in the Eastern Cape, that was allegedly awarded to relatives, has been suspended.

This after the Mail & Guardian reported that Sassa CEO, Busisiwe Memela-Khambula was turning a blind eye to the alleged misconduct and suspected fraud.
