City of Cape Town urging South Africans to vote for Mother City in World Travel Awards

The City of Cape Town urged South Africans to start casting their votes in the World Travel Awards: Africa Region 2023.
The Mother City is nominated in nine categories for the 2023 awards.
These include Cape Town International Airport under the category, Africa’s leading airport.
Robben Island, Table Mountain, and the V&A Waterfront are also nominated for the continent’s leading tourist attractions.
“The World Travel Awards is the most highly regarded award in the travel and tourism industry. It’s fantastic to be nominated with so many categories this year,” said Cape Town Tourism’s Briony Brookes.
“Some of our big attractions are nominated and we are also nominated in [the] Africa’s leading festival and event destination [category].”
