ANC calls for investigation after Chris Hani monument vandalised

The ANC has condemned the vandalism and desecration of the Chris Hani Monument.

The party is calling for law enforcement agencies to protect the memorial precinct, located at the Thomas Nkobi cemetery in Ekurhuleni, and to bring those responsible for the crime to book.

The SACP and Cosatu have also condemned the incident.

“We call on the City of Ekurhuleni to investigate this,” said ANC spokesperson Pule Mabe.
