Desmond Tutu chose hymns and choir for his funeral, says Ramphele

Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu’s wishes will be respected.
That’s according to The Desmond Tutu Intellectual Property Trust.
The Arch died on Sunday at the age of 90 in Cape Town.
He will be laid to rest at a state funeral on Saturday.
Tutu has asked for a simple, less lavish funeral.
He even chose hymns and a choir for his own funeral.
“His wishes will be honoured to the letter,” said Mamphela Ramphele of the Trust.
“He chose the hymns, the choir, so he will be given the right send-off.
“But he doesn’t want any fancy caskets, very simple coffin and no military parades, only love and that’s enough.”
