Hammanskraal cholera outbreak death toll rises to 15

The death toll in the cholera outbreak in Hammanskraal has risen to 15.

Deputy Health Minister, Sibongiseni Dhlomo made the announcement at a briefing outlining the government’s response to the outbreak.

Scores of people have been hospitalized while cases have also been reported in the Free State and Limpopo.

Residents are being advised not to drink tap water.

They are also being urged to boil and add salt to the water before consumption.
