Cholera death toll rises to 17

Two more people have died from cholera in Hammanskraal, bringing the death toll to 17.
The Gauteng Health Department says there are currently 67 patients in the hospital with gastrointestinal infections.
The number of laboratory-confirmed cases of cholera is standing at 29.
The department is urging people to wash their hands with water and soap, or alcohol-based sanitizer before handling food and after using the toilet.
