Muvhango Teaser: Chief Azwindini to die and resurrect

In one of South Africa’s fun TV dramas, Muvhango’s longest-serving actor Chief Azwindini is set to die and resurrect just like Jesus.

Gabriel Temudzani who is best known for his leading role as Chief Azwindini Mukwevho of Musanda wa Thathe on Muvhango soapie opera on SABC 2 weekdays is going to die much to the disappointment of Muvhango’s viewers.

According to Muvhango June teasers, the ancestors are going to punish Chief Azwindini when he requests to have Mukondeleli’s coffin and take the position of the throne in the royal house.

The royal house will turn upside down when Vho-Mukondeleli’s dead body is brought to the house.

Vho-Mukondeleli’s body will eventually leave the royal house on the 3rd of June (today) but Azwindini will interdict her family and stop her burial.

On the 7th of June, Chief Azwidini will get summoned to a sacred place for the royal family called Zwifhoni but he will refuse to go there.

Chief Azwindini’s refusal to go to Zwifhoni will anger the ancestors causing them to punish him. Azwindini agrees to Zwifhoni after Vhangani’s life hangs in the balance.

On the 15th of June, Chief Azwindini will wake up in Zwifhoni, and then on Youth Day (June 16) Chief Azwindini is going to die only for him to resurrect from the dead the next day. According to the teasers, Chief Azwindi will return a changed man.

A number of viewers are not happy with the storyline as they don’t want the chief to die since he is the main character. Fans are arguing that without Chief Azwindini there is no Muvhango. Even though he is just dying for one day, some Muvhango viewers have already started threatening not to watch the soapie.

Here are some of the reactions to the storyline:

Tumi Mophethe Nyokanhete: Who will marry women in muvhango?🙄🙄🙄🙄. Our man can’t die. Never, I repeat never

MaNdinisa Sthembile Mafuleka: Azwi can not die or that will be my last day watching Muvhango🤞

Làlà Queen MP: That’s the end of muvhago…the writer must accepted that he has nothing to say now

Phuti Rammala: The writer as no story line any more muvhano go must just finished and go like rhythm city
