Chichi finally lost her cool and decided to confront the source of all her misery Mthunzi Mayisa. After Romeo threatened her life, it seems that she’s convinced that she has nothing to lose and wants to take out her ex.
Romeo pulled a gun on Chichi, and it seems this reminded her how wretched her life really is. She’s living in constant fear that Mthunzi is going to find her and has to lurk in the shadows. Romeo didn’t have the heart to actually kill Chichi and let her go, giving her money to ‘buy herself a new conscience’. Being faced with imminent death apparently pushed her over the edge, and she decided to take out the man that ruined her life.
A smiling Mthunzi walked into the barrel of a gun (or rather the end of a silencer), and his smirk disappeared. Chichi had the confident conman on his knees and Scandal! fans were cheering. They enjoyed seeing the villain they hate begging for his life.
