R60 million upgrade to Charlotte Maxeke Hospital to be unveiled

The Gift of the Givers will unveil its whopping R60-million upgrade to Charlotte Maxeke Hospital.

Sections of the hospital were gutted after a massive fire in April 2021.

The aid group stepped in to help with repairs after not much was done to rebuild the hospital over two years.

Charlotte Maxeke now boasts one of the largest medical stores in South Africa.

Health Minister Joe Phaahla and Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi will be at the reopening.
