Charlotte Maxeke Hospital to be partially reopened

Gauteng Premier David Makhura announced that parts of Charlotte Maxeke Hospital that are structurally intact will be reopened.

Plans are in place to reopen the oncology unit.

Gauteng Infrastructure Development MEC, Tasneem Motara, says several changes have been made.

Municipality officials will inspect the unit on Friday.

The hospital was closed two months ago after a fire broke out.
