Car thieves suspects arrested in Centurion
“The possibility of linking the suspects to previous car thefts and hijackings is being investigated.”
Two men were arrested for attempted theft of a motor vehicle after they were caught with a jamming device in Centurion on Monday morning.
Three suspects were trying to steal a Ford Ranger at a shopping centre in Olievenhoutbosch, said police spokesperson Captain Augustinah Selepe.
“In their possession was a jamming device. They were driving a red Toyota Yaris, suspected to be stolen.”Selepe said a third suspect fled the scene.
“The possibility of linking the suspects to previous car thefts and hijackings is being investigated,” she said.
